Police Look For Stolen Property Owners

If you’ve been the victim of a break-in in St. Thomas, police might have some of your belongings.
Police are looking for the owners of thousands of dollars worth of stolen goods.
Officers launched an investigation after a February 25 break-in at a home on Fifth Ave, where about $15,000 worth of electronics, games, and DVD’s were stolen.
On April 25, they arrested a suspect. Attila Podlovics faces charges including of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Police say they seized a substantial amount of stolen property, believed to be from the Fifth Ave. break-in and others.
They’re now trying to match the goods with their rightful owners.
Anyone that has been a victim of a break and enter and is able to provide serial numbers or proof of ownership is asked to call St. Thomas police at 519-631-1363.
