Motorcycle Crashes Prove Deadly

It’s a sure sign of the better weather when two-wheeled vehicles come back out but it’s been a deadly weekend.

A 39-year-old Leamington man died in a single vehicle bike crash early Sunday. OPP say it occurred around 1:55am Sunday on Fox Run Road near the 15th Concession. The rider was pronounced dead on the scene. Police are in the process of notifying his next of kin.

A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital after he crashed his bike south of Sarnia on Sunday afternoon.  It happened on St. Clair Parkway just south of White Line West at about 3:30pm.

In Brantford, a rider was killed when his Harley left the roadway on Sunday night.  Police say the Harley-Davidson was westbound on Ellis Ave and left the roadway for unknown reasons. The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene. His name is being withheld at this time.

And on Friday, a Tillsonburg man died when his e-bike collided with a recycling truck. 52-year-old Harvey Collet of Tillsonburg was pronounced dead on the scene.
