Blast Of Snow Hits London

It was the last thing people longing for spring-like weather wanted to see.
A blast of snow hit the London-area Tuesday afternoon, causing whiteout conditions at times.
The intense flurries arrived after Environment Canada issued a Special Weather Statement that warned of brief, but heavy, periods of snow coming off Lake Huron.
Drivers reported difficult conditions, especially in areas outside London. By 3:30pm, the bands of snow had moved out of the region.
