Freezing Rain Warning Over For Southwestern Ontario

Londoners are waking up to a thin coating of ice and snow.

A wintry storm sweeping across the province passed through London and area Friday night with a mixture of snow, freezing rain and rain.

Environment Canada has ended a freezing rain warning for London and eastern Middlesex County.

However, Toronto, York and Durham remain under a freezing rain warning.

Forecasters says the accumulation of a few millimetres of ice could lead to hazardous travel conditions.

Motorists are advised to expect slippery roads, and drive accordingly.
