Man arrested after allegedly breaking into Chatham home 

A man is facing charges after allegedly breaking into a Chatham home and stealing food.

Police just after 10 p.m. officers were called to a Park Street address in regards to a suspicious person entering a residence.

When police arrived the man was found on the sidewalk in front of the house.

Police say it was revealed that once inside the house the man stole some food before leaving.

The man was brought to police headquarters where he was charged with break and enter as well as uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death.

The man was released with a future court date.

Chatham-Kent police arrest three people with outstanding warrants 

Outstanding warrants have landed three Chatham individuals in police custody.

A Chatham man has been arrested with an outstanding warrant after he was seen walking along the Communication Road overpass.

Police say a query of the male revealed he had an outstanding warrant with the Chatham-Kent Police Service.

He was arrested and later released with a future court date.

A Chatham woman who was in police custody in Sarnia was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

She was later released with a future court date.

Windsor police had a male in their custody that was currently wanted on an outstanding warrant in Chatham.

Police transported the man to headquarters in Chatham where he was later released with a future court date.
