String of break-ins on Erie Shore Drive

Police are investigating after several residences on Erie Shore Drive were broken into.

Multiple property owners reported the break-ins on Saturday. Police believe they occurred sometime within the last two days.

A scene of crime officer attended the locations and the investigation into the matter is ongoing.

Men arrested mid-break-in 

Two men got busted by police while allegedly breaking into a home.

It happened on Saturday when officers got a call about a break and enter in progress in Chatham. Residents in the area saw two men enter a vacant residence.

When police arrived, they located the two men inside and arrested them.

A 23-year-old man was arrested for break and enter while a 34-year-old man was arrested for break and enter, possessing break-in tools and two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking a schedule 1 substance.
