Intoxicated in a public place

Police found an allegedly intoxicated man.

It happened on Saturday at 5:20 a.m. in the Raleigh Street area. Police responded to a disturbance outside of a residence.

A 27-year-old man was found allegedly intoxicated and unable to care for himself.

He was arrested for intoxicated in public and later released.

Breach of the Peace

A man in Wallaceburg was acting unusually in a parking lot.

It happened in a Walmart parking lot in Wallaceburg shortly before 10:00 p.m. Police received a report of a 38-year-old man acting suspicious and waving a 2x4 in the air.

The man did not cooperate with police and was arrested for breach of the peace.

No injuries or assaults reported.

Breaking curfew

A man was arrested in Chatham for breaking curfew.

It happened at around 4:00 a.m. on Sunday after a person stop on Colborne Street.

A 39-year-old man was arrested for breaching his curfew and other probation conditions.

The man was held pending a bail hearing.
