Failure to attend

A 17-year-old was arrested in Dresden yesterday for failing to attend his scheduled court date. He was taken to police headquarters and is being held pending a bail hearing.

Arrest for breach of conditions A 47-year-old was arrested from a Chatham residence yesterday on a warrant for Breach of Recognizance. He was taken to police headquarters and is being held pending a bail hearing.

Drums, snowmobile stolen in break and enter

Police responded to a break and enter call on Cedar Hedge Line. A drum set, power tools, collectibles and a snowmobile were stolen. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 519-436-6600 or anonymously through CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Break and enter on Navistar property

Police responded to a suspicious person complaint on the old Navistar property. They arrested a 33-year-old on scene for breaking into one of the buildings. The man was taken to police headquarters and has been released with a future court date.

Outstanding warrants lead to arrest

A 29-year-old male was arrested in Bothwell yesterday on multiple outstanding warrants. He was taken to police headquarters and is being held pending a bail hearing.

Man arrested for breaking conditions

A 37-year-old was arrested in Wallaceburg at the home of his ex-girlfriend. The man was out on conditions for domestic related offences. He was transported to police headquarters where he will be held pending a bail hearing.

Arrest for previous weapons offence

A man has been charged with assault with a weapon, careless storage of a firearm and unauthorized possession of a firearm. The 45-year-old was arrested in Chatham in relation to a prior weapons offence incident. He was taken to police headquarters and will be held pending a bail hearing.

Canine unit tracks down break and enter suspect

The Chatham-Kent Police Canine Unit tracked down a 27-year-old male in Wallaceburg yesterday. He was arrested and taken to police headquarters.

Construction truck stolen

A 2010 white Ford F250 was stolen from a property on Communication Road around 11 p.m. last night. The vehicle has “D.R. CONSTRUCTION” and “519-350-5678” written on the side, and was plated with AT62248. If you see the vehicle, police are asking you to contact them with the location and direction of travel.
