A traffic stop in Chatham results in the arrest of a 34-year-old man.

Police say at 4am they initiated a traffic stop on Emma St. where they found a driver who had outstanding warrants for failing to report a change in address. Police say this went against his conditions while being on the sex offender registry.

He remains in custody pending a bail hearing.


A woman allegedly driving on a suspended licence has been caught during a traffic stop.

Police say on August 13 around 3:30pm they initiated a traffic stop near St. Clair St. and Gregory Dr.

A 25-year-old Chatham woman has been charged with driving while under suspension.


Police are searching for unknown suspects in connection with a robbery on Molengraaf Way in Chatham.

Sometime during the night between August 12 and August 13 an unknown number of suspects entered a residential garage and stolen several items, including a black and blue Raleigh bicycle, tools and frozen meat.
