Police Briefs – Sunday, July 10, 2016

CK police say the number of impaired drivers has gone down.

RIDE checks were done at the entrance to Erieau on Saturday, where 425 vehicles were stopped and checked but no infractions were seen.

Police are still reminding people to be responsible during events such as Ribfest in Chatham or the Kinsmen Summer Festival in Tilbury.

They say don’t drink and drive, watch the speed, wear a seat belt, and avoid using your phone while driving.
