A second man is now facing charges in connection to a drug raid on West St. in Chatham.
On April 25 police raided a home and found fentanyl residue, hydromorphone and drug paraphernalia. A locked safe was also seized.
A 21-year-old was arrested at the scene and charged with drug trafficking
After getting a warrant for the safe, police found meth, cocaine, methadone, clonazepam and cash inside.
Yesterday, police arrested a 32-year-old wanted in connection to the bust. He faces several drug and property related charges.
He remains in custody pending a bail hearing.

A 36-year-old Chatham man faces assault charges following a brief standoff with police on Raleigh St.
Officers were called yesterday morning for a report of an altercation between the man and his ex-girlfriend. The man was asked by the homeowner to leave several times but refused. He overpowered the homeowner, entered the home, assaulted the ex-girlfriend and then fled.
Later that day, the man was seen entering a home on Raleigh St. He refused to come out, so police surrounded the home and then tried to obtain a warrant. About an hour and a half later, while officers waited for judicial clearance, the man surrendered.
He now faces a charge of break and enter and assault. He’s been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
