An alleged impaired driver was pulled off the road in Wallaceburg.
Police stopped an erratic driver on Dufferin Ave. near First St. last night just before 9:30pm.
Officers allege she was driving while under the influence of alcohol, so she was arrested and taken to police headquarters for breath tests.
The 46-year-old St. Clair Parkway woman is charged with impaired driving, and refusing to provide a breath sample.
A Dresden man wanted in connection with an assault has been arrested.
Back on Friday, April 8, police allege the man assaulted another man, whom he was not to have contact with.
He fled the area before officers arrived, but was located yesterday morning. The 47-year-old is charged with assault and failing to comply.
Damage is estimated at $9,000 after a vehicle crashed into a ditch on Wabash Line between Kent Bridge Rd. and Base Line.
Police say the driver lost control shortly after 1:30pm yesterday afternoon.
The 38-year-old Chatham man was taken to hospital for injuries, and has been charged with careless driving.
Two TV’s, a laptop and Android box were stolen during a break and enter in Chatham.
Police say the theft at a home on Duke St. happened sometime between 3:30pm and midnight.
