DNA has led to an arrest in connection to a break and enter in Wallaceburg.

Back on December 13, 2015, a pickup truck was damaged on Murray St. when someone attempted to steal it.

Evidence was collected and sent to the Centre for Forensic Sciences where a match was made.

A 36-year-old Moraviantown man was arrested last night, and charged with attempt theft of a motor vehicle and mischief.

A Chatham man, who got upset during an argument with his girlfriend, has been arrested.

Police say the man broke his girlfriend’s cell phone, then stabbed a bedroom door with a large kitchen knife on Sunday, April 10.

The 38-year-old was taken in to custody Monday afternoon and charge with mischief.

A argument that turned violent in Wallaceburg has landed a man behind bars.

Police say the man assaulted and threatened the woman yesterday, but she fled the home and called for help.

Further investigation revealed this was not the first time she had been the victim of domestic violence.

A 34-year-old man was arrested and charged with uttering threats and three counts of assault.

Police were also called to a domestic disturbance in Chatham.

Officers say a man when to his girlfriend’s home last night, assaulted her and damaged her computer.

A 42-year-old Chatham man is charged with assault and mischief.

A green two-door 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was stolen from a parking lot on Chatham St. N in Blenheim.

Police say it was stolen sometime between 2 and 10am yesterday, and was last seen with the Ontario license plates BXSE 721.
