Police have made an arrest after a Chatham woman was attacked with a knife and threatened.
Police say a woman got in the way of the man who was confronting her dog inside a Chatham residence. The man then proceeded pushed her to the ground and cut her with a knife, threatening to kill her and her dog.
No medical attention was required.
A suspect has been arrested and faces a slew of charges including assault with a weapon, uttering threats and weapons dangerous.
An 18-year-old woman is back in police custody after allegedly being out after her court-ordered curfew.
On Saturday, police say they responded to a Gary St. residence in Chatham, finding the suspect hiding in a closet.
The after court conditions restricted the suspect to her own residence during nighttime hours.
The suspect is being held pending a bail hearing.
CK police are investigating a break and enter that saw medication and a TV taken from a Chatham home.
Police say an unknown suspect broke into the Thames St. residence through a window sometime overnight Friday.

Another attempted break in saw a bike stolen from a Blenheim residence.
Sometime between Thursday and Saturday, police officials say unknown culprits tried to enter a locked shed on Hall St.
They were unsuccessful but did take a grey Huffy cruiser bike valued at $100.
