Police Briefs – Wednesday, December 30, 2015

Electronic equipment is missing following a break and enter in Chatham Township.

Police say sometime over the past week, multiple pieces of equipment were taken from a trailer on Bluewater Line.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Chatham-Kent police or Crime Stoppers.

Violating bail has landed a Wallaceburg man back in police custody.

Early this morning, officers were called to residence on Duke St. because the man was outside yelling when he confronted by the resident and the pair got into a verbal argument.

The suspect fled and hid in a trailer on the property, but was arrested when police arrived. He’s charged with two counts of bail violations and is being held pending a bail hearing.

No infractions were observed during multiple RIDE checks on Tuesday, December 29th.

Chatham-Kent police checked approximately 140 vehicles in Bothwell and Thamesville.
