Police Briefs – Tuesday, December 29, 2015

A domestic dispute has landed a Blenheim man back in police custody.

The 20-year-old was released on bail back in November with the conditions he not to communicate with specific people.

Shortly after 8pm on December 27, officers were called to a home on Lorne Ave. in Chatham where they found the man with one of the people he was not suppose to associate with.

He was arrested and charged with breaching his bail conditions.


A stolen mailbox in Thamesville is under investigation.

Police were called a residence on Industrial Rd. on Sunday, December 27.

The mailbox has allegedly been damaged numerous times over the past few months before it was stolen.


Police are looking for a stolen bicycle in Wallaceburg.

A 61-year-old man reported his locked bicycle was stolen from the porch of his residence on Albert St.

The black CCM Supercycle with white wall front tires was taken sometime in the early morning of December 26th.
