Chatham-Kent police are looking for a van stolen Christmas night.

Officials say the 2004 silver Ford Freestar was taken from the town of Morpeth.

It sports the licence plate BXSE 720, and also held a roof rack containing a number of tools.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Chatham-Kent police.


Police also say a Wallace St. home in Wallaceburg was broken into Saturday night.

Officers say an unknown suspect entered through an unlocked window, taking electronics and jewellry.


Late on Boxing Day, police responded to a disturbance on Hyslop St. in Chatham.

When they got there, they saw a man walking away from the home with several cans of beer.

Upon learning he had court conditions not to consume alcohol, police arrested a 46-year-old man and are holding him for a bail hearing.


Chatham-Kent police also arrested a 20-year-old Ridgetown man for public intoxication around 3am Sunday morning.

He was held until sober.
