Police Briefs – Tuesday, November 17, 2015

A Blenheim man is facing numerous charges, including uttering threats and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Police issued a warrant for the 30-year-old following a domestic incident in Chatham back on November 9

Acting on a tip, officers went to a home last night to find the man. When they arrived, the suspect allegedly jumped a fence in an attempt to flee, only to find police waiting for him on the other side.

A search found the suspect was in possession of crystal methamphetamine, a digital scale, and small baggies.

He’s also been charged with nine counts of failing to comply, and is being held pending a bail hearing.

$850 worth of electronics are missing from a store in Wallaceburg.

Police say sometime between 10pm on Sunday and Noon on Monday, the front door window of Geek and Things on James was broken.

A PlayStation 3, Panasonic television, Xbox, and several PS3 games were taken.
