About $8,000 worth of electronics are missing from a Chatham residence following a break in.
Police say the break and enter happened sometime over the weekend at the home on King St. E.
Stolen was a black MacBook, 55′ Toshiba LCD TX, Xbox 360 and games, Dyson fan, Ping golf clubs with Taylor Driver and 3 wood, 20v cordless drill, silver iPod, silver Swatch watch, and gold St. Marys high school football ring, assorted clothing and US currency.
Chatham-Kent police are investigating after a snowmobile was stolen from a home on Charing Cross Rd.
Police say the blue and yellow 2004 Ski-Doo was taken sometime between 11pm Saturday night and Noon on Sunday.
The snowmobile has pink accent lights and is worth $3,500.
A black scooter has gone missing from the Wallaceburg pool area.
Police say sometime yesterday afternoon, the back ‘X-Games’ children’s scooter with polished aluminium wheels and red ‘X Games’ sticker was taken.
The scooter is worth $150.
Hitting a light post in Chatham has landed one man with charges.
Police say the single-vehicle accident happened around 2pm yesterday afternoon on Grand Ave. W near Lacroix St.
The 30-year-old Tilbury man suffered non-life threatening injuries and was charged with driving while under suspension and driving while in contravention of conditions.
Damage is estimated at $15,000.
Both drivers were charged in a two vehicle crash in Blenheim on Sunday afternoon.
Police say one driver was taken to hospital for medical attention after the two vehicle collided on Chatham St. N between Cathcart St. and Story St around 3pm.
