Police Briefs – Saturday, November 14, 2015
Chatham-Kent police caught a motorist who wasn’t supposed to be driving in Chatham Friday.
Police stopped a vehicle on Victoria Ave. around noon.
That’s when they recognized the driver inside, who had a suspended licence. Police say the driver also had court conditions not to operate a motor vehicle.
A 29-year-old Chatham man is charged with breaching his recognizance and driving while under suspension.
A couple women were also apprehended in the last 24 hours with warrants out for their arrest.
The first saw officers arrest a 35-year-old woman on Friday who had a warrant out for failing to attend court.
The second incident saw another woman, this one 30-years-old, arrested on Duncan St. in Wallaceburg.
