A Windsor man, wanted on an outstanding warrant by Chatham-Kent police has been apprehended.

Windsor Police took the man into custody on Sunday morning, then transported him back to Chatham-Kent.

The 47-year-old was wanted for production of a controlled substance and was released with a future court dates.

An outstanding warrant has landed a London man in trouble with Chatham-Kent Police.

Last night around 10pm, London police took the man, who was wanted for theft, possession of stolen property, failing to attend court and failure to comply, into custody.

The 31-year-old was released this morning with a future court date.

An Acer laptop, Galaxy cell phone and alcohol were stolen from an unlocked home on Prince St. S home in Chatham over the weekend.

Police say the theft occurred sometime between 11pm Saturday night and 7:30am Sunday morning.

Police are investigating after two businesses in Chatham had doors and windows smashed.

$500 in damage was caused when the front door at Another Ones Treasures on McNaughton Ave. W was smashed. Police say it happened sometime between 5pm on Saturday and 8am on Sunday.

Then sometime late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, a window was damaged at Harvey’s on St. Clair St. Damage is pegged at $1,000.
