Police are investigating after $1,200 worth of electronics went missing from a home on Harwich St. in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service says a laptop and cell phone were taken from the residence sometime last Saturday night or early Sunday morning while the homeowner was asleep.
An ATV was stolen from a residence on Longwoods Rd. in Camden Township.
Chatham-Kent police say the red 1996 Polaris W96 ATV was taken sometime between 5pm on Friday and 9am on Sunday.
The ATV had the licence plate 21DH3, and was worth approximately $3,000.
Police say 25 motorists were stopped and checked with no infractions during a RIDE check last night in the Blenheim area.
A Wallaceburg man spent some time in police custody after he was unable to care for himself.
Officers arrested the man Sunday morning around 7:45am on St. Clair St. for being intoxicated in a public place.
Police say the 28-year-old was taken into custody for his own safety and was released when sober.
Two vehicles in Wallaceburg were broken into over the weekend.
Sometime between 11am and 11:30am Sunday morning, loose change was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in a parking lot of Dufferin Ave.
Then sometime late last night or early this morning, a wallet and loose chance was taken from a unlocked vehicle parked on Sandra Cres.
An 18 speed CCM mountain bike was stolen from a parking lot of Park Ave. W in Chatham.
Police say the unlocked bike was taken sometime Sunday morning. The bike is worth $200.
