Police are taking a 48-year-old man’s driver’s licence away temporarily after a car he was driving crashed into a curb on Tissiman Ave. near Pavey St. in Chatham Tuesday night.
Officers say they believe the man was under the influence of alcohol at the time.
He’s also charged with careless driving.
Police are trying to track down a black 1983 Kawasaki Z44 motorcycle that was stolen from a residence on Dell St. in Wallaceburg.
It was last seen with the Ontario license plate 6A6N9.
A 22-year-old Blenheim man is charged with careless driving after a two-vehicle crash on Bloomfield Rd. near 8th Line at around 7am Tuesday morning.
The damages are estimated at $10,000.
Damages are pegged at $5,000 after a two-vehicle collision on Richmond St. between Keil Dr. and Bothwell St. in Chatham at around 3pm Tuesday afternoon.
A 23-year-old Leamington woman is charged with careless driving.
Police are trying to track down an oxygen tank and a purse that were both stolen from a residence on Wallace St. in Wallaceburg either late Monday night or early Tuesday morning.
Anyone with information is asked to call Chatham-Kent police or Crime Stoppers.
Police are looking for leads after someone stole a weed eater and a gast tank from a cemetery shed on Winterline Rd. in Pain Court.
They were stolen sometime between Spetember 24 and September 29 and have a combined value of approximately $450.
