Chatham-Kent police are looking for a suspect after a pickup truck was stolen from Total Comfort Heating & Cooling in Ridgetown.

The unlocked white 2011 GMC Sierra truck with the company name printed on the doors and a toolbox in the bed, was last seen on Main St. around 2:35pm Wednesday afternoon.

The suspect is described as between the ages of 16-21 years old, was wearing a baseball hat, a light coloured t-shirt, and was carrying a red and white duffle bag.


A 19-year-old woman has been charged with six counts of breach of probation after she was arrested.

Chatham-Kent police issued a warrant for her arrest and took the woman into custody on around 11:30am Wednesday morning after locating her on Erieau Rd.


One person was taken to hospital for observation following a two-vehicle crash in Thamesville.

Police say the accident happened at the corner of London Rd. and Victoria Rd. around 2:30pm Wednesday afternoon.

A 74-year-old Thamesville man has been charged with making an improper turn. Damage is estimated at $6,000.
