Chatham-Kent police say a repeat offender is back in custody.

Police say the 36-year-old had a curfew and sign-in responsibilities after being released from court earlier this month.

Police say on Saturday, the suspect was late for his sign in at Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters. When he did arrive, officers said if he breached his conditions again he would be arrested.

Officials later observed the man breaching his curfew, riding a bicycle on city streets.

He’s been arrested pending a bail hearing.
