Eight tickets for various liquor license infractions were handed out by officers in Ridgetown last night.
The tickets, handed out to students, are a part of a proactive initiative to help reduce complaints from local residents.

A Chatham man is facing charges after allegedly violating his parole.
Police received a call yesterday afternoon from a woman who needed help in removing a man from her property.
The 36-year-old fled before officers arrived, but was located a short distance away.
Police say he was wanted on two counts of failing to comply, and is being held pending a bail hearing.

A two-vehicle accident in Chatham has led to charges forĀ a 24-year-old woman.
Around 2pm yesterday afternoon, emergency crews were called to the crash on McNaughton Ave. E near Coverdale St.
There were minor injuries and total damage is pegged at $1,800.
