A Chatham man is in police custody after allegedly breaking into the Chatham-Kent Hospice construction site.
Chatham-Kent police say they recieved reports about a suspicious man sniffing around the site around midnight Saturday
Officers found a suspect in a trailer near the hospice and arrested him.
A 52-year-old man is charged with break and enter, and possession of stolen property.

Police are also looking for a stolen van in Chatham.
Police say someone took a brown 2005 Chevy Venture van form a Canterbury St. residence around 1:30am Sunday.
It sports the licence plate BRXY 585. Anyone with information is asked to contact Chatham-Kent police.

Chatham-Kent police were also called to the Tilbury area for a disturbance involving alcohol.
Police say an intoxicated man was found on Canal St. in Tilbury.
Officers determined he was unable to care for himself, and held him in custody until he was sober.

CK officers also conducted R.I.D.E. programming in Tilbury, Wallaceburg, Blenheim and Dresden.
A total of 140 vehicles were checked, with no infractions as a result.
