A Grand Ave. W business is the latest victim of a break and enter.

Around 9am Friday police attended the business, who say someone had broke into an on-site storage trailer, causing $3,000 in damages.

Police are unsure if anything was stolen, and the investigation is ongoing.

CK police are investigating another break-and-enter, this time in North Buxton.

Police say someone broke into a cottage in the area through the rear door, causing $500 in damages.

Once inside, the suspect stole $1,100 worth of property.

A 24-year-old man is in police custody after police searched a home in Wallaceburg.

Around 1pm on Friday, police searched the home of a material witness wanted for a preliminary hearing. It was there they found a partly mature marijuana plant.

Police caught up to the suspect on Margaret Ave. bridge. After a brief foot chase, a suspect was arrested on the north boardwalk of the Sydenham River.

CK police have executed another warrant, and discovered more drugs in another apartment.

While investigating a fraud case, police attended a Park Ave. W residence in Chatham.

Officers found methamphetamine and evidence of a related offence.

The investigation is ongoing.
