Police Briefs – Monday, August 24 2015

Chatham-Kent police are investigating a pair of break-ins that were reported yesterday.

A construction trailer on the site of the Chatham-Kent Hospice at 99 Park St. Chatham was entered. Police say an assortment of property was taken.

A Gibson guitar, a John Deere riding lawnmower and a utility trailer was stolen from a house on Brush Line. The break-in was carried out sometime over the last week.


A Chatham man faces a charge of breach of recognizance and was held for a bail hearing. Police say the 45-year-old man was discovered yesterday morning in a residence without his surety.
