Police are on the hunt for a thief who stole from a construction site.

Officers responded to a call on Drake Rd. in Chatham Saturday morning, around 7:30am.

There they found around $15,000 worth of tools had been taken from a locked storage container.

Chatham-Kent police are looking for suspects who unloaded a large number of garbage items on Golf Course Line in Ridgetown.

Police say they discovered four bed mattresses, box springs and a stove on the road around 10am.

Police were able to nab a man breaching his court conditions because he was caught yelling to himself.

Officers responded to the area of Riverview Dr. and Merritt Ave. after complaints about the incident.

When police found the suspect at a nearby residence, they discovered the courts instructed him not to be at that home.

He was arrested and charged with breach of probation.

Chatham-Kent police are looking for a stolen truck with a distinct license plate.

Police say a beige 2005 Chevrolet Silverado was taken from a Reaume Ave home in Wallaceburg Saturday after 8:30pm. It sports the licence plate “GREENY.”
