Diligent observation from CK police has put a 33-year-old man in custody with assault charges.
Police say they flagged down a woman walking in Downtown Chatham Saturday.
Officials claim she had fresh scratches and redness around her neck area.
Officials learned a man she was visiting had choked and dragged her out of a Chatham residence.
As a result a 33-year-old Chatham man is charged with domestic Assault.

CK Police have also arrested a man with outstanding warrants.
Chatham-Kent police say they saw a suspect while on call at a St Clair St business Saturday ight.
Police say the suspect ran, but were able to track him down a half an hour later on Grant St.
He`s charged with Breach of Probation Order, and Failing to Attend Court.
