A 25-year-old man is facing charges after police say he kicked down the door of an apartment unit on Grand Ave. E while a woman was cleaning.

Officers found the man in the area and took him into custody.

The woman inside the apartment wasn’t hurt, but the damage to the door is estimated at $300.

Officers in Dresden arrested a 51-year-old woman who was breaching her bail conditions by communicating with a 49-year-old man who was also under similar orders.

The woman was wanted for failing to comply with her release conditions and failing to attend court.

Both the man and the woman were taken into custody.

A 37-year-old man who was out past his curfew is facing charges after police say they found him in someone’s backyard in Chatham.

Police say they found the man after someone tipped them off about a suspicious person in the backyard of a residence on Murray St. just before midnight last night.

He’s now charged with trespassing and two counts of failing to comply.
