Police Briefs - Wednesday, May 13, 2015

A Chatham man is facing three counts of failing to comply after violating his bail terms.

On Tuesday afternoon, an officer spotted the 27-year-old on Merritt Ave. in Chatham talking to a man he was told not to associate with.

Officers pulled over a vehicle last night around 9pm for driving erratically near Queen St. and Mill St. in Tilbury

The 24-year-old Romney Township woman's licence was suspended due to unpaid fines.

Police are looking for a stolen vehicle in Dresden.

The 2010 blue Hyundai Elantra, with the Ontario licence plate BSWV 946, went missing from Hughes St. between 8:30pm-11:30pm last night.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service continues to accept donations for the Outreach for Hunger food bank on Wellington St. E in Chatham.

Anyone who wants to donate non-perishable food items can drop them off at any CKPS Service Centre across the municipality this month.

Chatham-Kent OPP are charging a 23-year-old Windsor man with six offenses including speeding, taking a motor vehicle without consent and driving without a licence.

OPP report a Ford car on Hwy 401 was stopped westbound near Charing Cross Rd. for a speeding violation and weaving in and out of traffic.

Officers say the car was taken without the owner's consent and the driver was not in compliance with his probation order.

He is scheduled to appear in a Chatham court on May 27.
