Crime of the Week – November 10, 2020

Since the end of October, there have been several break and enters into Smoke Barns curing tobacco in the area of Fargo Road, Erieau Road, and Talbot Trail.

Not only is the theft of several thousand stalks of tobacco a concern to the farmers, but also the risk of fire when opening one of these barns. The potential loss of a crop could cost the farmer hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Crime Stoppers is seeking your anonymous information to help identify the persons responsible for these thefts. If you know who they are or where the tobacco has been taken call 1800-222-8477. You could earn a cash reward.
