Crime of the Week – November 20, 2019

Early in the morning on Friday November 15th, 2019 police discovered a vehicle on fire along the railway tracks between Sass Road and Park Avenue in Chatham.

The unknown 4 door vehicle entered the area by accessing a property at the end of Wellington St E. The vehicle had stolen license plates and the VIN plate had been removed.

Police and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s assistance to identify the persons responsible for this arson. If you saw a vehicle entering the area or saw anyone walking away from the area, call Crime Stoppers at 1800-222-8477 with your anonymous information. You could earn a cash reward.
