The season is over for the Chatham-Kent Cougars Varsity team.
A playoff game between the Cougars and Predators was originally supposed to take place over the weekend but due to weather, the game was suspended. The game stopped with the Cougars down 14-6.
The Cougars travelled back to Waterloo Tuesday night to resume the game. However, the score remained unchanged at 14-6.
"After not having a Varsity team for a few years, to this team making the OFC playoffs was a huge accomplishment for our program and set the path for a strong Cougars Varsity season next year," read a media release.
In the meantime, the Cougars Pee Wee team will travel to Scarborough for a championship game on July 27.
