Cougars win a pair on a wet weekend

The Chatham-Kent Cougars' Bantam and Peewee teams both walked away with wins Sunday afternoon after two rainouts Saturday.

The Peewee team improved to 2-0 on the season, beating Sarnia 40-12.

QB Sawyer Emmott threw a pair of touchdown passes to Caleb Roberts and Jayden Baylis.

Roberts also ran in a touchdown and scored on a 65-yard punt return. Elliot Peco and Emmott each ended up in the endzone on the ground for the Cougars, too.

The Bantams won 7-6 over Waterloo -- the Junior Varsity and Varsity games on Saturday were both rained out.
