Chatham-Kent Swimmers performed well on day one of the Canadian Age Group Championships in Quebec City.
Madison Broad of the Chatham Y Pool Sharks won gold in the the 200 Backstroke in the woman's 14-year-old category.
Brendan Vanherk of the Blenheim Blast finished 8th in the 200 Backstroke, 9th in the 100 Butterfly, and 30th in the 50 Breaststroke in the men's 15-year-old category.
Genevieve Sasseville from the Pool Sharks finished 9th in the 100 Butterfly in the women's 12-and-under category.
