CK Talent Dips In 2015

There are some young Chatham-Kent hockey players who could be drafted in this year's OHL Priority Selection, but they're not expected to go in the first few rounds.

Brendan Ross with TheScout.ca says if any Chatham-Kent players get selected, they will probably go in the second half of the draft.

"I would probably say that most of the talent would be available any time after the eighth round," says Ross, adding there are 15 rounds in the entry draft. "The 2014-15 version of the Chatham-Kent Cyclones isn't nearly as strong as the crop they sent to the OHL draft last year, but they did improve throughout the season."

Ross adds there are still a few names to watch, including Kier Cumming, Brady Hogg, Tyler Hotham and Kadin Ritchie. This year's draft is tomorrow (Saturday) and will be conducted online, but based out of Toronto.
