The live broadcast of Chatham Maroons hockey is returning to Blackburn Radio.

Country 92.9 FM/630 AM will be broadcasting 30 regular season games, including all road games and six select regular season games. The first broadcast will be the season opener in St. Thomas on September 12.

Head Coach Mark Davis says it promises to be an action packed year.

“It has been two years in a row that we’ve been in the finals and we’ve never made that Sutherland Cup jump, so hopefully we can make that jump this year. We’ve got some key players back, so I’m excited,” Davis tells BlackburnNews.com. “We have a total of 15 guys coming back, so we’re going to put around seven new faces on the team.”

All games will be available on-air and can be streamed online at Country929.com or BlackburnNews.com.

The Maroons home opener against Leamington goes September 14.
