Maroons Tie Series

The Chatham Maroons have tied Game 2 of the Junior B Hockey Western Conference Final after defeating the Leamington Flyers 3-2.
The Maroons were able to keep ahead of the Flyers throughout the game Friday night. Leamington was scoreless at the end of the first period after Chatham managed to make two goals. Both teams scored a goal each during the second and Leamington scored once in the third, but were unable to tie the game before the buzzer. Chatham also out shot Leamington 33-22.
Adam Arseneault, Tanner Ferguson and Jared Dennis each scored once for Chatham. Nathan Opblinger and Alex Seguin scored Leamington’s two goals.
The series is tied 1-1 and Game 3 is set for Sunday at 4:10 pm in Leamington.
