Chatham-Kent is calling local businesses to showcase their companies to the next generation of young workers.
The Career Fair and Job Expo will be held on October 18 to 19, 2023 at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre.
Employers will be able to engage local grade 7 to 12 students with hands-on, experiential booths to learn about career pathways in their industry during the career expo on both days.
On the evening of October 18, employers will also meet local and external jobseekers who are exploring employment opportunities in Chatham-Kent.
"We are pleased to work with employers across key sectors, local educational institutions, and community partners to help strengthen Chatham-Kent’s labour market," said Manager of Community Attraction and Promotion Victoria Bodnar. "We are also promoting the event to internal and external job seekers to help ensure employers meet a range of talent to fill their immediate workforce needs."
Registration is now open for Chatham-Kent employers to secure a booth during this two-day event.
