Over $1,000 worth of tools, meat stolen from Ridgetown residence 

Chatham-Kent police are investigating an overnight break-in in Ridgetown where over $1,000 worth of tools and meat were stolen.

Police said someone broke into the garage of a residence on Algonquian Street sometime overnight on Saturday.

The suspect used the door opener from an unlocked car to gain entry into the garage.

Police said the items stolen were an estimated combined value of $1,500.

Chevy Silverado stolen from the Tilbury area 

Chatham-Kent police are asking to the public to a lookout for a silver 2011 Chevy Silverado that was stolen from the Tilbury area.

Police the vehicle was stolen sometime over the past two days.

The truck was last seen with Ontario license plates that read 6444FT.

Wallacetown man arrested for public intoxication near Mitchell's Bay 

A 26-year-old Wallacetown man is charged with public intoxication after a disturbance at a campground near Mitchell's Bay.

Police responded to the report Friday night and arrested the man.

He was taken to police headquarters and lodged until sober.
