New bus service connects area residents to Chicago

Residents of the areas in and around Chatham, London, and Windsor who want to make a trip to the Windy City can now ride the bus to get there.

Megabus, which recently offered a new route from Toronto to Detroit with stops in the three cities, is now offering an expanded route that can take riders all the way to Chicago, Illinois.

The express bus service will make two trips per day between Chicago and Toronto, seven days a week, and will stop daily in Chatham, London, and Windsor.

It will also offer additional stops in Southfield, MI, Benton Harbour, MI, Gary, IN, Jackson, MI, and Kalamazoo, MI.

"This is an exciting opportunity for us to expand our cross-border offerings by leveraging our partnerships and our technolgy," said Megabus VP Colin Emberson in a media release. "The timing couldn't be better as we're able to offer these additional trips ahead of Victoria Day, Memorial Day, and the summer travel season."
