Police recover pickup truck that was stolen from a Ridgetown residence
Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for tips after a red GMC Sierra pickup truck was stolen from a residence in Ridgetown.
The theft happened sometime before 10 p.m. on Thursday and 1 p.m. on Friday. However, police said the pickup truck was later recovered on Kennesserie Road in Ridgetown.

Toronto woman arrested following several thefts across Chatham
A 40-year-old Chatham woman is facing a handful of charges after a string of thefts across Chatham.
Police said the woman first attended a business on St. Clair Street in Chatham at around 3:20 p.m. on Saturday and allegedly stole roughly $250 worth of items.
Shortly after, the woman went to a gas station on Park Avenue East in Chatham and stole $20 worth of gas.
Police said they were able to identify the woman through video surveillance and learned she was driving a vehicle that had been reported stolen from Milton.
She also had warrants out for her arrest.
Police located the woman and stolen vehicle on Charing Cross Road in Raleigh.
She was arrested and charged with two counts of theft under $5,000, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, one count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, driving while under suspension, possession of a controlled substance, and fail to comply with release order.
She was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Chatham man arrested for public intoxication in Wallaceburg
A 33-year-old Chatham spent some time sobering up in police custody after he was found drunk on Elgin Street in Wallaceburg late Saturday night.
Police took the man into custody and held him until he was sober.
He was charged with being intoxicated in a public place.
