Chatham man arrested after crashing pickup truck into hydro pole
Chatham-Kent police responded to a single-vehicle collision on Centre Side Road in Chatham early Saturday.
Police said a pickup truck struck a hydro pole and caused extensive damage.
The driver, a 21-year-old Chatham man, allegedly failed to remain at the scene but was soon located.
He was arrested on an outstanding warrant and issued a summons for failure to remain and careless driving.

Copper wire stolen from construction site in Chatham
Chatham-Kent police are investigating after copper wiring was stolen from a number of new homes under construction.
