Pain Court woman's lotto purchase wins a whole lot of dough

A quick stop after work to pick up a lottery ticket paid off big time for Melissa Bradley from Pain Court.

She ended up winning $100,000 after matching six of seven ENCORE numbers in the exact order for the LOTTO MAX draw on December 6, 2022.

The 40-year-old told the OLG it is her first big win.

"I was going to the store on my way home from work when I decided to pick up a ticket," said Bradley when she was picking up her prize in Toronto. "I checked my ticket the next day, and when I saw I won big I was so excited!"

Bradley said she plans to use the winnings to save up for her child's education.

"My family and friends were so shocked. I've never seen this many zeroes – it's surreal," said Bradley. "I feel very lucky and grateful."

The winning ticket was purchased at Mac's on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg.
