Police allegedly find illegal drugs on wanted man
A 39-year-old man who was already wanted for failing to attend court is facing more charges now after police allegedly found a "suspected controlled substance" in his possession.
Police said they made that discovery after arresting the man on Brander Avenue in Wallaceburg just after 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The discovery of drugs was strike two because police said the man had also been previously released with a condition not to be in possession of an illegal drug. The third strike was that he was also wanted by Lambton OPP on a separate matter.
A 39-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with drug possession and failing to comply with his release conditions and then released to OPP with conditions and a future court date.
