Fire crews called to $300K shed fire near Bothwell

No injuries were reported after a fire broke out at a pole shed on Longwoods Road between Thamesville and Bothwell early Tuesday morning.
Chatham-Kent fire crews said they were called to the scene at 15018 Longwoods Rd. just after 1 a.m. Tuesday.
Crews from Station #9 in Bothwell were the first to respond and firefighters from Thamesville and Orford were also called in to help out.
A report from fire officials said “firefighters quickly got the fire under control to protect the surrounding exposures” and managed to save approximately $400,000 in property.
The damage was estimated at $300,000 and the cause is listed as “undetermined.”
