Vehicle stolen from Wallaceburg home 

Chatham-Kent police are asking the public for tips after a 2022 blue Hyundai Accent was stolen from a residence on Albert Street in Wallaceburg.

Police said it happened early Saturday morning. The vehicle had an Ontario licene plate that read CJYJ746.

Single vehicle crash leads to impaired driving charge for Chatham man 

A 47-year-old Chatham man is facing an impaired driving charge after allegedly flipping his vehicle over in a field on Queen's Line.

Chatham-Kent police said they were called to the single-vehicle crash just after 4:30 a.m. Sunday.

The driver was assessed by paramedics at the scene.

Police said while speaking to the driver, officers believed the driver was under the influence of alcohol.

He was arrested and taken to police headquarters for further tests which determined his blood alcohol level was over the legal limit.

He was charged and released with a future court date on November 8, 2022.

19-year-old charged following collision on MacEwen Street 

A 19-year-old man is facing charges after crashing his vehicle into a hydro pole on MacEwen Street in Bothwell.

Police said they were called to the crash just after 9 p.m. Saturday night.

The driver was not injured but he was charged with several highway traffic act offences.
